Cinema patrons have to validate their parking using their Hoyts ticket at the pay machines.

Conditions of entry are displayed throughout the car park. The ticketed car park system accepts cash and credit cards only.

Parking information
Westpoint uses a parking system that uses number plate recognition technology with paper tickets. Read below to understand how this system works.
Customers who visit the centre several times a day will still be offered 3 hours free parking, so long as visits are 60 minutes apart. If you re-enter under 60 minutes, you will be charged for the entire period you have parked. If your visit is within 3 hours, you'll enjoy free parking whereby you can simply proceed to the exit and the boom gate will open automatically.
A $10 flat rate applies after 11pm, based on entry after 8pm and exit before 5am.
How it works
- Upon entry take a parking ticket to enter the car park, if your visit is under 3 hours, parking is free.
- If it is over 3 hours, head to one of the many pay stations, enter your number plate or insert your parking ticket and pay the parking fee.
- Drive to the exit where the system will recognise your parking payment and the boom gate will open automatically, or insert your parking ticket if the boom gate doesn’t open.
- Payments could also be made at the exit gate which accepts Visa/Mastercard credit or debit card.
Validation
All validation can only be applied on your first parking ticket of the day, and only one validation per visit.
Disability & Seniors Parking – One‑Off Visits (Ticket Validation Required)
First 5 hours are free for customers with a valid Disability Parking Permit or Seniors Card.
If you are visiting Westpoint as a one‑off or do not have a registered vehicle:
- Take a parking ticket on entry
- Visit Customer Service on Level 3 near Strand to have your parking ticket validated
Please note:
- Validation can only be applied to the first parking ticket of the day
- Validation must be completed during your visit
- Additional validation is not transferable to future visits
Disability & Seniors Parking – Registered Vehicles (Regular Visitors)
For customers who visit Westpoint regularly, we offer a number plate recognition parking system so you don’t need to validate your parking each time you visit.
Once your vehicle is registered:
- No parking ticket required on entry
- Your number plate is automatically recognised
- Enjoy up to 5 hours of free parking per visit
- Exit gates open automatically within the free period
If you stay longer than 5 hours, standard parking rates will apply for the additional time.
Registered customers do not need additional movie validation, as the 5 hours of free parking already includes sufficient time for cinema visits.
Vehicle registration is available via Customer Service.
Only one vehicle can be registered per customer.
What if I receive a ticket?
If you receive a parking ticket on entry, this means your number plate was not detected by the system.
If this happens:
- Please notify the Car Park or Customer Service team as soon as possible
- Our team will assist and manually log your vehicle to ensure correct parking charges are applied
Hoyts Patrons Validation
First 5 hours are free for Hoyts Patrons. If you are a Hoyts Patron, you can have you parking ticket validated at:
- Any Auto Pay Machine before leaving to your vehicle.
Exit gate while exiting the car park.
How to validate:
- Insert parking ticket.
- Scan the PARKING BARCODE.
The 2 hours extra free parking time will be applied.

- Movie ticket: 2nd barcode at the bottom of your movie ticket.

Validation can only be applied:
- After your first 3-hours free parking has been exceeded.
- Only on your first parking ticket of the day.
